Casa degli Angeli is situated in an ideal position in respect to as many as three (out of four) of the cultural highlights Tuscany has to offer: Lucca (18 km), Pisa (40 km) and Florence (80 km).

 And also in the direct surroundings, there are many interesting places to discover!

The Bed and Breakfast stands right on top of a sunny hill, in a particular beautiful location called the Brancoli area. This is the area just above Lucca, where you’ll find the first hills. This territory is characterized by lush forests, cascades and streams. Picturesque villages, church towers and olive grooves provide variation in the extraordinary beautiful nature.

Leaving from Casa degli Angeli, there are two hiking tracks: one heading east and one heading west, in the direction of the reservoir and the pretty river Serchio. Those fond of cycling can eat their fill off: the area offers extensive routes for the beginning as well as the advanced cyclist.

Authentic restaurants, shops as well as a large supermarket you’ll find at 8 km from the Bed and Breakfast. Places of interest in the direct surroundings are (among others) Pieve di Brancoli, Nozzano, Borgo a Mozzano (with the beautiful Ponte del Diavolo) and the spa town of Bagni di Lucca. A bit further away, but still within easy reach, are well known cities like Pistoia (55 km) and Volterra (90 km).

Sportsmanlike type of people can live it up in the extensive ski- and hiking areas at 60 and 20 km respectively from Casa degli Angeli.

Magnificent wide beaches and lovely coastal towns are to be found at barely 40 km distance from our home. For children there is the Pinocchio amusement park, and for anglers a well equipped fish-pond nearby.
