After at least ten years of planning and dreaming, our Italian dream did finally come true! In September 2007 we - Aad and Stephanie from Rotterdam, Holland - fell in love with a beautiful stone farmhouse at Deccio di Brancoli, a tiny village at a stone´s throw distance from Lucca, Tuscany.
This property had everything we could wish for: classical Tuscan features complete with a private chapel and a wood furnace for pizza! The Bed and Breakfast is situated in a central position with respect to culture, nature and the beach. It is surrounded by lush forests, cascades and streams, alternated by tiny little villages just begging to be portrayed...

We named our home Casa degli Angeli: a gift from heaven, acquired during a memorable dinner at the Via degli Angeli in Lucca.
To make a Bed and Breakfast possible, we needed to make adjustments to the sanitation and kitchen; stucco, carpentry and digging were some of the many, many things that were required... In July 2008 the B&B needed to be finished. Without the help of family and friends, this would never have had succeeded.

Casa degli Angeli is situated at the far end of a tiny little village at 480 m. of height. It counts about 20 homes, a church and a bodega. Our sunny position on top of the hill, offers a lovely view over the village and the valley beneath. Straight from Casa degli Angeli, you can take off hiking or cycling in the forest!

For our guests we have tried to create a Bed and Breakfast as close to perfection as possible. No exaggerated luxury, but a truly pleasant, sociable and above all comfortable place to stay.
